Is PureSleep right for me?
PureSleep is designed to help individuals who suffer from snoring and want a safe, comfortable, effective solution. It is suitable for both men and women and can accommodate virtually all bite types and jaw sizes.
Do not use if any of the bullet points below describe you. Also be aware that it's completely normal and expected that you will experience soreness in your teeth and gums during the first three or four full nights of use, as you acclimate to using this device. Ongoing, severe or sharp pain is not normal.
Finally, PureSleep is the first mandibular repositioning device (MRD) available directly to consumers, and like all MRDs, there is a risk of malocclusion if not used correctly, and with several years of use, tooth movement is also possible, although any such movement would be very slow and can be halted by simply discontinuing use.
Do Not Use PureSleep if:
- You are under 18 years of age.
- You have been diagnosed with central sleep apnea which is different from
obstructive sleep apnea and far less common. - You have chronic asthma, emphysema, COPD or any other serious breathing or respiratory disorder.
- You have loose, damaged or weakened teeth, fillings or caps.
- You have an abscess, mouth sores, bleeding gums or severe gum disease.
- You have had a dental implant within the last 3 months.
